The two-day Turkey-Gulf forum is the first of its kind and specialised in military and security cases in the Middle East region. It is the result of co-operation between the Qatar Armed Forces Centre for Strategic Studies and the Turkish Tasam Centre.
In the light of the importance of the Turkey-Gulf Defence and Security Forum and its objectives, the Centre for Strategic Studies Commander Staff Brigadier General Dr Hamad Mohamed al-Marri described it as the result of research co-operation between Qatar and Turkey.
“It will enable the two centres to solve important defence and security cases for Qatar and Turkey particularly, in addition to the important cases of the Arab Gulf and Middle East in general,” he added.
