Ooredoo offers Bank to Wallet Transfer service

Ooredoo hasannounced that its Ooredoo Money service has launched a new ‘Bank toWallet Transfer’ feature in collaboration with QNB.With the newservice, any Ooredoo Money customer with a bank account in Qatar canconveniently and securely transfer money from their bank accountdirectly to their Ooredoo Money Wallet. A maximum of QR10,000 can bereceived in a full wallet per day. Once deposited in the wallet,customers can then transfer the money internationally, 24 hours a dayusing Ooredoo Money partners MoneyGram or Aldar Exchange at one of thebest exchange rates in Qatar. In addition, customers can make Halatop-ups, buy data recharges, pay their Shahry bill, or purchase anOoredoo Passport instantly through Ooredoo Money.Previously, onlyQNB customers could receive money from their bank account to theirOoredoo Money Wallet using QNB’s Mobile Pay service. With the newfeature however, anyone with a bank account in Qatar can quickly andeasily send money to their Ooredoo Money Wallet using their OoredooMoney Wallet IBAN number.To begin transferring money, customers candiscover their IBAN number by logging into the Ooredoo Money app andopening the ‘My Wallet Info’ tab or by dialling *140*(your mPIN)*6*6#.Fornew transfers, customers must use Qatar National Bank as the recipientbank via their bank’s online banking service, then enter their OoredooMoney wallet IBAN number and other details.For more information about Ooredoo Mobile Money services, visit http://www.ooredoo.qa/en/omm.
