Aster Medical Centre, a division of Aster DM Healthcare, is organising a free, open-to-all event from today until November 24 to raise awareness levels on diabetes among Qatar residents.
The event, organised under the Aster Diabetes Expo ’17 initiative, will be held at Aster Medical Centre located near the foot overbridge and BMW service station in the Industrial Area between 4pm and 9pm on the above-mentioned dates.
The Diabetes Expo is in line with World Diabetes Day marked globally on November 14 and the associated worldwide campaign against the disease, Aster DM Healthcare has said in a press statement.
The event is a part of Aster DM Healthcare’s 30th anniversary under the banner of Aster@30. Underprivileged people living and working in the Industrial Area can get their blood sugar screened and know more about diabetes free of cost.
Registration to the diabetes club is an additional incentive available wherein the members will be entitled to routine care and volunteer training for diabetes care. For more information, one can contact 74799330/55464059.
