The Ride of Champions, dubbed as ‘Qatar’s festival of cycling for the fast, first-timers and families,’ saw the participation of Adviser at the Emiri Diwan HE Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, Qatar’s cycling stars Abdullah al-Hammadi and Ali bin Mohamed bin Towar al-Kuwari, ambassadors Dr Bahia Tahzib-Lie (Netherlands), Eric Chevallier (France) and Adrian Norfolk (Canada), among others. It was presented by Qatar Tourism Authority, organised by the Qatar Cyclists and funded by the Ministry of Culture and Sports. The hospitality area at the event provided cyclists with an array of meals, drinks and natural fruit juices while some shops offered different kinds of bicycles and accessories.
