QVC clinch Division II Gulf Incon-Metabo Trophy

QVC defeated AL Zaman Exchange by seven wickets in the Division-II final to win the 23RD Gulf Incon-Metabo Cricket Tournament.Batting first at the Losail Cricket Grounds, AL Zaman Exchange scored161 runs in 20 overs. Aziz scored 31 runs with two sixes and twoboundaries and Imran contributed 26 runs. Fauzan and Haleem took threewickets each for QVC.In reply, QVC achieved the target in 18.1 overs after losing threewickets. Rameez scored 26 runs with the help of two sixes and twoboundaries. Zaheer Fauzan 22 and Tajammul contributed 23, 22 and 21respectively runs for the winners. Fauzan of QVC was adjusted man of thefinal. A two-minute silence was observed as mark of respect to theveteran cricketer Bacchu Nazareth of IBQ, who passed away recently.
