Emir offers condolences to Oman's deputy PM
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani offered condolences to Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of Oman, on the death of his brother Sayyid Turki bin Mahmoud al-Said, at the Family Council in Muscat.
His Highness the Emir also offered condolences to the members of the family, senior officials and dignitaries.
The Emir was accompanied by HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa bin Hamad al-Thani, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and a number of sheikhs.
Earlier on arrival at the Private Sultani Airport, the Emir was welcomed by Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq al Said, Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd al-Said, Sayyid Faisal bin Turki al-Said, Oman's Minister of Justice Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al-Khalili, Charge d'affaires of the Qatari embassy in Oman Faisal Rashid al-Nuaimi and the Qatari embassy staff.
After offering his condolences, the Emir left Muscat.
The Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off at the Private Sultani Airport by Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq al-Said, Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd al-Said, Sayyid Faisal bin Turki al-Said, HE Oman's Minister of Justice Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al-Khalili, Charge d'affaires of the Qatari embassy in Oman Faisal Rashid al-Nuaimi and the Qatar embassy staff.
