Goic to host ‘Qatari-Omani Joint Entrepreneurs Meeting’ in April 2018

The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (Goic) will host the ‘Qatari-Omani Joint Business Entrepreneurs Meeting’ on April 11 and 12 in Doha, in collaboration with Modern Talent, an Omani-based events and conferences organising company.The meeting, which is to be held under the patronage of HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, was the result of Goic’s efforts to strengthen industrial and commercial co-operation and co-ordination between GCC countries.The event is expected to bring together a number of decision makers, businessmen, and investors from Oman and Qatar, Goic said in a statement yesterday.It also aims to encourage industrial and commercial partnerships that would contribute to economic development in the two countries by promoting co-operation between Qatari and Omani businessmen and investors. Furthermore, the meeting will introduce the various characteristics and scopes of investment opportunities in Qatar and Oman to help young entrepreneurs to innovate and boost all forms of investments. The meeting aims to benefit from the unlimited human and natural capabilities, promote economic relations in various fields, encourage partnerships between factory owners and experts in both countries, and to facilitate Qatari and Omani businessmen’s investment ventures in Qatar and Oman. Moreover, the meeting will present an opportunity to stimulate Qatari-Omani economic relations and increase commercial exchange in line with the expectations of both the countries.The meeting will focus on key economic sectors such as heavy industries, logistics, tourism, technology and software, real estate, hospitals and healthcare, gas and its derivatives, food industries, and agriculture and livestock. Some of the key themes of the meeting include the strengthening commercial exchange, contributing to economic development of both the countries, investing in the sectors of technology and communications, discussing investment opportunities through specialised papers and consultation sessions for various business sectors, signing agreements and visiting industrial areas, in addition to visiting Qatar’s main tourist attractions.
