His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani crowned the winners of the Emir's Sword Festival. 

The Emir handed His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa al-Thani, the owner of 'Ghazwan' horse, the Golden Sword after winning the title of the key eighth round, and crowned Khalifa bin Shu'ail bin Khalifa Al Kuwari with silver sword after his two horses 'The Blue Eye' won the seventh round and "Easter de Faust" claimed the sixth straight title.
HH the Emir also crowned the winners of the first prize of the Grand Prix, namely: Salmin Sultan Al Suwaidi, who finished in the first place and won Golden Sword, and Hamad Ali al-Attiyah who came in second place and Salman Mohammed Al Emadi who finished third.
His Highness also crowned the winners of the first four positions in another race where Yousif Mohammed Yousif Al Hajri took the first place, while Mohammed Rashid Mohammed Al Musallam took the second place.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Mishaal Hamad Al-Thani finished third, while Mohammed Kaman Saeed Al Khayaran Al Hajri came in fourth place.
HH the Emir honored as well the sponsors of the festival.
The event, held at Al Rayyan Racecourse today, was attended by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH Tariq bin Mohammed Al Said of the Sultanate of Oman, Chris Stewart, a member of the US House of Representatives from Utah, and also a member of the US House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and Accreditation Committee, along with a number of sheikhs, ministers, heads of diplomatic missions, horse owners and a crowd of horse racing enthusiasts.
