Aster launches Nurture programme in Qatar
Aster DMH Qatar, the largest private healthcare network in Qatar with six medical centres and one hospital, launched its Aster Nurture programme yesterday at a special event.
The announcement was made by Dr Sameer Moopan, chief executive officer, Aster DMH Qatar along with Dr Nazar Moopan, medical director and chief of medical staff, Aster DMH Qatar and Kapil Chib, chief operating officer, Aster Hospital Qatar.
Aster Medical Centres and Hospital’s gynaecologists Dr Hema Rajeev, Dr Sabita Prasad, Dr Kumari Varghese, Dr Jyoti Khanna, Dr Poornima Balagopal, Dr Nivedita Sivasankar, Dr Ifat Irshad and Nurture co-ordinator Dr Navitha Aziz were also present.
Aster Nurture aims at nurturing, providing care and protecting a woman at all stages of pregnancy till her baby attains the age of five.
Upon enrolling in this programme, participants will be entitled to a range of benefits ensuring a healthy pregnancy and delivery in Aster Hospital, Doha.
The care also continues into post pregnancy to ensure the holistic well-being of mother and baby.
Dr Sameer said, “Through Aster Nurture, pregnancy care will be made more affordable and with our support team we will ensure that the confidence of the expecting parents is kept high through a holistic approach where our doctors will address their concerns on a regular basis.” Aster Nurture programme covers a wide range of services including antenatal packages, maternity packages, antenatal classes, counselling and continuity of care under the leadership of experienced gynaecologists of Aster Hospital and various Aster Medical Centres across Qatar.
Aster DM Healthcare started operations in Qatar in 2003 and has completed 15 years of dedicated service.
The company presently operates a 50 bedded multi-speciality hospital, six medical centres, seven pharmacies and one diagnostic centre at various locations of the country.
The Aster Hospital, medical centres and pharmacies are located at residential and business districts including Mathar Qadeem, C-Ring Road, Old Al Ghanim, Al Hilal, Al Rayyan, Al Khor and Industrial Area.
