AAB claims award for customer service again

The Customer Service Division of Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB) recently concluded the 2018 Body and Paint Technician Skills Contest. The event is held every two years with the aim of improving the body and paint technicians’ repair techniques using the latest technology available in the market, AAB has said in a statement.“The activity is in line with AAB’s relentless pursuit to provide the best customer satisfaction while at the same time motivating its certified technicians to always give their best in what they do. On the part of the technicians, the competition also enhances their loyalty, thus continuously improving the reliability and brand reputation of Toyota,” the statement noted.In the early ’90s, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) established the Toyota International Customer Service Champions Society to provide the deserved recognition and motivation for Toyota customer service personnel worldwide. AAB started the national skills contest in 1999 and the formal body and paint contest was launched in 2008.The Body and Paint Technician ‘Champions’ from the contest will represent AAB at the Toyota international customer service assembly at TMC Japan, which will be held in November.Masayuki Fukumori, Field Operations manager - TMC/BRO, and AAB officers, together with R K Murugan - acting CEO, Arun Kumar- Customer Service Division director, and Muthusamy - senior manager - National Service, were present during the awarding ceremony. “I am proud to be a part of this event, where I get the chance to see the making of a ‘Champion’ and witness how the technicians honed their skills and talents in preparation for the Grand Finals,” Fukumori said.The main highlight of the event was the presentation of the Customer Service Excellence Award, which has been given to AAB for six consecutive years by TMC. The award is presented to distributors that have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining Toyota’s highest standards for customer satisfaction, training and customer-friendly processes.“The award is a testimony of AAB’s dedication to provide excellent customer service,” the statement added.
