Lekhwiya team wins Armed Forces trophy

Under the patronage of HE the Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, the team of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has won the Armed Forces trophy in a 4km run, organised by the Military Sports Association at Al Sayliyah Camp. The team won the trophy after a strong competition with 10 teams from the various units and branches of the Qatar Armed Forces in addition to Lekhwiya, the US Force, and the Turkish Force with eight contestants per team. The Emiri Air Forces team came second, and Ahmed bin Mohamed Military College Team third. HE the Chief of Staff honoured the winners.
