Defence minister meets Raytheon, Lockheed Martin officials and senators

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Raytheon International, Dr Thomas Kennedy, and Vice-President of Business Development John D Harris. Discussions during the meeting dealt with the joint projects and ways of developing them. The meeting was attended by the Military Attache of Qatar to the US Brigadier General Yusuf Mohamed al-Kuwari.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lockheed Martin Defence Equipment, in Washington, DC, yesterday. A number of projects of common interest were discussed during the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Military Attache of Qatar to the US Brigadier General Yusuf Mohamed al-Kuwari.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met US senators from New Jersey,  Rhode Island, West Virginia and Tennessee - Robert Menendez, Jack Reed, Shelley Moore Capito and Bob Corker, respectively, in Washington, DC, yesterday. The meetings discussed  means of enhancing  relations between Qatar and the US, the latest developments related to the Gulf and Syrian crises and the Palestinian issue.
