Amir congratulates Swiss Confederation president

President Ghani praises Qatar’s mediation efforts
Afghanistan’s President Mohamed Ashraf Ghani met in Kabul yesterday with the visiting Special Envoy of Qatar’s Foreign Minister ambassador Mutlaq bin Majed al-Qahtani. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, as well as means of achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan and Qatar’s mediation efforts in bringing together the views of the parties concerned in this conflict. The president praised Qatar’s mediation efforts and its keenness on achieving peace in Afghanistan.
