Happy with Qatari victories, says QREC Board member Khalid al-Ali

Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) Board member Khalid bin Mohamed al-Ali lauded the progress made at every edition of the Qatar Goodwood Festival thanks to Qatar’s sponsorship and the huge turnout every day. “Since the very first edition of the Qatar Goodwood Festival in 2015, there has been an interest in development and gaining more experience from the Festival,” said al-Ali.“The Qatari presence is brilliant and the quality of racing is impressive, especially with the renowned names present and competing at the races in terms of horses, trainers and jockeys. That is why we are very happy with the Qatar Racing-owned Lightning Spear winning the Qatar Sussex Stakes (Gr1) as well as the two wins recorded by Al Shaqab’s Watan and Medahim.”
