US President Donald Trump is set to receive the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, on Wednesday, September 5, the White House has announced.
The Amir of Kuwait will meet with Trump at the White House to discuss trade, investment and cooperation in security, spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a press release.
In the meantime, Kuwait new agency (KUNA) reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah left for Washington on Saturday to prepare for the Amir's upcoming summit with President Trump.
