Accordingly, two violation reports were issued pertaining to food safety.
During the same period, food items that were offered in some establishments within the municipality were destroyed by reason of being deemed unfit for human consumption.
These included 31 full carcasses of slaughtered sheep.
Meanwhile, health inspectors supervised the slaughtering process of 5,100 sheep at abattoirs. Fines collected amounted to QR22,500.
