Qatari Committee opens Justice Palace complex in Gaza

HE the Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, Ambassador Mohamed al-Emadi opens the Justice Palace complex in Al-Zahra city in the central Gaza Strip

HE the Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, Ambassador Mohamed al-Emadi inaugurated Sunday the Justice Palace complex in Al-Zahra city in the central Gaza Strip.

The 11-dunam complex, at a cost of $11mn, comprises the Supreme Judicial Council, the Supreme Court, as well as Appeal, First Instance and Reconciliation courts.Abdul Raouf al-Halabi, President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary in the Gaza Strip, praised Qatar's efforts to complete the project and its continued support to the Palestinian people.

"We are grateful to those who stood by our people in the most difficult circumstances," al-Halabi said. "We must establish for generations and history the truth of our love and deep gratitude to the State of Qatar," he added.The Qatari committee is carrying out dozens of vital projects in the Gaza Strip, as part of the grant of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani for the reconstruction of Gaza, worth $407mn, besides other grants.The President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary in the Gaza Strip, said that the opening of the complex constitutes a new step down the path to maintaining justice and the protection of public and private rights and the first stage of the march of judicial development in the Gaza Strip.He thanked HE Ambassador Al Emadi and his team at the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza for their efforts, support and facilities to complete this project in a short and exemplary period.
