Mall of Qatar announced that it has prepared “dazzling and captivating family entertainment” activities that will run daily from Friday until Qatar National Day on December 18.

The festive programme includes daily Ardah shows on the Ooredoo stage, a henna booth at West Gate 2 and a traditional kids’ area for families to enjoy an array of activities at East Gate 1.

The Ooredoo stage will also play host, Friday and on December 13 at 7.30pm, to 10 brass musicians from Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra with a line-up of melodies. Besides, the musicians will give a close-up performance at 9pm in the mall’s Luxury Court.

Then, at 3pm and 5pm on Qatar National Day, a theatrical performance will portray the country’s past, present and future in an educational and joyful way featuring 50 young talents from around Qatar, Mall of Qatar has said in a statement.

In addition, creative artworks from schools are displayed throughout Mall of Qatar as part the mall’s own initiative, ‘What Qatar means to you’. The project gave schools the opportunity to showcase their students’ creativity and also win cash prizes of up to QR5,000.

“Qatar National Day is an occasion on which we convey our gratitude to the country and the nation. As the nation’s mall, we are proud to celebrate this day with our community, partners and visitors who have inspired the continued solidarity, growth and prosperity of Qatar,” said Stuart Elder, CEO, Mall of Qatar.
