The Embassy of Qatar in Nepal marks Qatar National Day

The Embassy of Qatar in Nepal recently marked Qatar National Day celebrations under the theme of ‘Promise of Prosperity and Glory’ in Kathmandu.Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nepal, was the chief guest at the event. Yusouf bin Mohamed al-Hail, Ambassador of Qatar, welcomed the gathering. The event kicked off with the anthems of Qatar and Nepal, which was followed by a cake cutting ceremony. While addressing the gathering, the ambassador said, “Our bilateral relations are prospering continuously. The two countries also have abundance of natural resources. Therefore, there are various opportunities and ideas to strengthen the bilateral co-operation in different fields, including trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and hydropower.The event was attended by notable personalities, including government officers, heads of diplomatic missions and parliamentarians.
