His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met on Sunday with Sheikh Nasser al-Mohamed al-Ahmad al-Sabah, representative of Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah at the launch ceremony of Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor.
At the outset to the meeting at the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Nasser conveyed the Kuwaiti leader's greetings to His Highness the Amir, expressing thanks for naming the Corridor road project after his name. He also conveyed the wishes of good health and happiness to the Amir and for continued progress and prosperity for the Qatari people.
His Highness the Amir reciprocated his greetings to Sheikh Sabah, wishing him good health and further progress and prosperity to the Kuwaiti people. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations.
The Amir held a luncheon banquet in honour of the Kuwaiti official and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting and the banquet was attended by His Highness the Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.
