With events like Qatari Diar Triathlon, which is happening in superb location, we are getting even more interest from local and expat athletes. Future for Triathlon in Qatar looks bright. I would like to thank Qatar Olympic Committee for support and Qatari Diar for hosting the event, along with all the other sponsors and partners, who will also be contributing to make the event a success for all.”

Qatari Diar received the committee’s request to have Lusail City as the host of the event and we agreed to it. A new venue which will have a different identity to the city’s multiple facilities, that takes into consideration the principles of sustainability and establishing a healthy lifestyle for residents and visitors.
