Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and the accompanying delegation visited the Al Zaeem Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, where they were welcomed by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, and the College Commander Major General (Pilot) Salim Hamad al-Nabit.

During the visit, the Bulgarian president was briefed on the history of Al-Zaeem College, its establishment and the training and academic programmes held at the institution, especially with regard to the training of fighter pilots as well as the trainer aircraft used, the related systems, advanced teaching aids and methods for the Bachelor degree in Atmospheric Science, besides the preparation of students and graduates of the College from Qatar and friendly countries.

The Bulgarian president toured the training facility, which includes the latest automated systems of aeronautics, and the classrooms and equipment used in them.

President Rumen Radev expressed his pleasure at what he saw in the college and praised its advanced level compared to the global colleges.
