PM visits National Control Center of Kahramaa

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani visited the National Control Center (NCC) of Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in Al Thumama Area. During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on the operation mechanism in summer, readiness of electricity and water networks, maintenance and emergency plans and reading of control room indicators. He also listened to a detailed explanation about the system's working mechanism, demand forecast, response time and repair of failures. The Prime Minister then inspected the progress of the strategic projects implemented by Kahramaa in the sectors of electricity, water, solar energy, customer services and projects implemented by Kahramaa to serve vital projects in the country, including World Cup stadiums, rail stations, economic zones and many services provided by the corporation.
