Ahead of the new school year, Doha Festival City (DHFC) has announced a ‘Back to School’ scheme with many offers at its retail stores. The promotion which starts Thursday helps parents get stationery items, school uniforms, study materials and everything needed by school goers at special prices. 
As part of ‘Back to School’, consumers can avail special vouchers that will help them donate for those who are in need. Shoppers have an opportunity to receive up to QR200 voucher as part of the campaign to give back to the community.

The ‘Back to School’ donation drive encourages shoppers to donate various school items from August 22 until 30. All vouchers will go to Qatar Charity. Guests can drop their school supply donations in a giant backpack placed opposite to Monoprix on the Ground Floor. Backpacks can contain stationery, uniforms and other school supplies.
Robert Hall, general manager, DHFC, said that the Back to School shopping experience offers a diverse collection of all of the essentials at competitive prices. “Our donation drive is an initiative in our partnership with Qatar Charity to give back to the community and help those children in need at this particular time of the year,” he stated.
DHFC is home to famous brand names in retail, many of which have made their Qatar debut. These include Harvey Nichols, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, Dior Beauty Boutique, and ACE. It also houses the country’s only Ikea which has been open since 2013. There are over 100 places to dine and relax including restaurants, cafés and casual dining outlets, from brands that are unique to Qatar including Jamie’s Italian, Café Coco, 800 Degrees and Aimee’s Cafe.
