The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial traffic shift on Al Wakrah Main Road between Ooredoo Roundabout and Al Afja Roundabout (known as Al Jabal Roundabout) from Saturday (August 31).
The traffic shift on the 1.5km stretch will be implemented for four months in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. The closure is to allow construction as part of the Al Wakrah Main Road Upgrade project.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the changes on the road and requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
