Sheikh Dr Khalid chosen ‘Islamic Finance Personality of 2019’

QIIB chairman and managing director Sheikh Dr Khalid Thani bin Abdullah al-Thani has been chosen as ‘Islamic Finance Personality of the year 2019’ by The Global Islamic Finance Awards committee. It recognised his pivotal role at one of the largest Islamic banks and also the efforts he made to enhance Islamic finance at the regional and international levels. The honouring ceremony was held in Cape Town, South Africa.
