Complimentary breast cancer screening at Naseem Al Rabeeh

Naseem Al Rabeeh Medical Centre, C-Ring Road, has announced that it “is reaching out to women patrons” by offering a complimentary breast cancer screening through a mammography test and doctor consultation. Attendees can get the test done and obtain the report on the same day and consult the doctor as well. The offer is available only for the first 25 registrations on November 8, from 7am-3pm.Referring to the latest initiative, the medical centre said in a statement: “#I Will I Can - we are taking this theme to the next level after observing month-long breast cancer awareness programmes.”The new Radiology Unit at Naseem Al Rabeeh, C-Ring Road, is “adding to the vision statement through state-of-the-art technology”, the statement notes. The unit comprises facilities such as MRI, CT,  mammogram, ultrasound 3D and 4D, X-ray (general, OPG) and dental X-ray (intraoral and panoramic). The centre has both male and female radiologists and radiology technicians. The services of the Radiology Unit will be available from 8am-10pm on normal working days.“Screening for breast cancer is very important as it helps identify breast cancer early. The earlier the condition is found, the better the chances of surviving it,” the statement added.
