QNB launches new end-of-year international spends campaign for Mastercard cardholders

QNB Group has announced the launch of a new end-of-year promotional campaign for its Mastercard cardholders. During the campaign period, set to run from today until January 31, 2020, customers with QNB Mastercard debit, credit or prepaid cards will be eligible for an “exciting range of benefits when they use their card to make international spends, including e-commerce transactions”, the bank has said in a statement.Further, QNB customers will automatically be granted one entry into the campaign raffle draws upon spending the equivalent of QR100 in foreign currency. Up to five daily winners will be eligible to win up to QR5,000 in cashback.Heba al-Tamimi, general manager, QNB Group Retail, said: “This campaign is another clear demonstration of the effort of the QNB cards business to reward customers based on transaction behaviour. “Our cardholders enjoy best-in-class and award-winning products and loyalty benefits. We are very proud to collaborate with Mastercard on this campaign to bring great delight to our customers.”“QNB’s cards and payment products continue to lead the market with their wide range of benefits and privileges. Besides being simple to use, as well as boasting of cutting-edge safety and security features, cardholders are automatically rewarded each time they use their card locally or abroad at both point of sale machines and e-commerce transactions. Reward points can then be redeemed in hundreds of outlets in Qatar and overseas, including Harrods,” the statement notes.Somu Roy, general manager, Qatar, Kuwait and Iraq, Mastercard, said: “At Mastercard, we place the consumer at the heart of all our initiatives. The total number of employees is more than 29,000, operating through 1,100 locations, with an ATM network of more than 4,300 machines.
