His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will head to Rwanda Monday to attend the ceremony of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award.
The ceremony will be held in Kigali in partnership with the United Nations, in the presence of Rwandan President Paul Kagame, Namibian President Hage Geingob, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Felix Tshisekedi, FIFA president Gianni Infantino, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J Mohamed, and Vice President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) Dr Eduardo Vetere.
Several international personalities will attend the ceremony. During the ceremony, His Highness the Amir and the Rwandan president will honour the winners of the award's four categories: Lifetime or Outstanding Achievement; Academic Research and Education; Youth Creativity and Engagement; and Innovation.
