The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure on Bani Hajer underpass from Al Shahama Street to Al Rayyan and Doha from Friday for two days. The closure, to be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, is to enable asphalt works, as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.
Road users on Al Shahama Street heading towards Al Rayyan or Doha will have to take the exit ramp towards Al Wajba Interchange, make a U-Turn and then continue on Dukhan road towards Doha or take the second exit on Dukhan Road towards Al Rayyan.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
