The festival, organised by Qatar Al Qannas Society under the patronage of HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, will continue until February 1. The spectators at Sabkat Marmi in Sealine continued to be entertained by the performances of falcons.
The organisers have made all arrangements including commentary to help the audience enjoy the event.
The Marmi Championship highlights the cultural interests of Qataris through various shows and competitions. This year’s registration recorded a huge turnout of falconers, including 40 participants from Kuwait. The competitions are held in local and international categories.
