The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) renewed its call to farm and camel owners to adhere to the decision that bans camel grazing, in order to preserve the natural environment and contribute to the efforts that the ministry is making to enrich wildlife in Qatar.
The ministry said that the patrols of Department of Protection and Wildlife at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment work around the clock to control violations, and to take all necessary legal measures in this regard, noting that during December last year, 111 violations in various regions of the country have been registered, and all the necessary legal measures were taken to preserve the Qatari environment.
The decision follows the positive results of the ban in the previous years in terms of growth of trees and plants as well as recovery of green areas.
