The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting on Tuesday, chaired by its Rapporteur HE Ali bin Abdullatif al-Misnad al-Mohannadi.
During the meeting, the committee discussed a draft law on the protection of industrial drawings and designs, in the presence of Acting Undersecretary for Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Saleh bin Majid al-Khulaifi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department Hilal bin Mohamed Al Khulaifi, and Assistant Director for Intellectual Property Protection Department at the ministry Abdulrahman bin Saad al-Qahtani.
The committee decided to complete its study of the said draft law at its next meeting.
