The Infrastructure Development Projects of Citizens' Sub-Divisions, for which 10 contracts worth a total of around QR4bn were signed on Tuesday by Ashghal, is planned to be started during the first quarter of this year.
Once completed, the project covered by the 10 contracts will serve Al Ebb, Leabaib, Jeryan Nejaima, Al Duhail South, Umm Lekhba, Al Mearad and Al Meshaf South by providing advanced infrastructure including surface and groundwater drainage networks, sewage networks and a treated sewage effluent (TSE) network.
Roads and Infrastructure in Duhail South and Umm Lekhba - Package 1 was awarded to Petroserv and Roadbridge JV at a value of QR422mn, the project serves 862 residential plots by implementing of about 14km road works, 44 km of pedestrian and cycle paths and more than 2,600 parking lots.
Roads and Infrastructure in Jeryan Nejaima, awarded to Petroserv and Roadbridge JV at a value of QR352mn, will serve 625 land plots. It includes more than 15 km of road works, pedestrian and cycle lanes of about 46km and more than 30,00 parking lots.
Roads and Infrastructure in South of Al Meshaf – Package 7 was awarded to Petroserv and Roadbridge JV at a value of QR422mn and it serves 1,394 land plots. It includes construction and development of about 20km of roads, and 57km of pedestrian and cycle paths.
Roads and Infrastructure in Al Mearad and Southwest of Muaither – Package 3 was awarded to Petroserv and Roadbridge JV at a value of QR257mn. The project will serve 466 plots through the implementation of 16km of road works, about 6km of pedestrian and cycle lanes and more than 2,500 parking lots.
Roads and Infrastructure in Al Ebb and Leabaib – Package 4 was awarded to QBS Construction for a value of QR587mn. It will serve 1,097 land plots and includes the construction and development of 26km of roads, 67km of pedestrian and cycle lanes and more than 4,000 parking lots.
Roads and Infrastructure in North of Mall of Qatar and Celebration Road – Package 2 was awarded to QBS Constructions Company at a value of QR259mn. The project will serve 851 land plots and includes the construction and development of about 16 km of roads, and 3km of pedestrian and cycle lanes.
Roads and Infrastructure in Al Mearad and Southwest of Muaither – Package 6 was awarded to UrbaCon and InfraRoad Trading and Contracting at a value of QR498mn. The project will serve 853 land plots and includes the construction and development of about 30km of roads, 5km of pedestrian and cycle lanes, and more than 3,430 parking spaces.
Roads and Infrastructure in Al Mearad and Southwest of Muaither – Package 6 was awarded to UrbaCon and InfraRoad Trading and Contracting at a value of QR498mn. It will serve 853 land plots and includes the construction and development of about 30km of roads, 5km of pedestrian and cycle lanes, and more than 3,430 parking spaces.
Roads and Infrastructure in Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa – Package 2 was awarded to UrbaCon Trading and Contracting Co. and InfraRoad Trading and Contracting at a value of QR499mn to serve 1,492 plots. The project includes road works at a length of more than 39km providing pedestrian and cycle paths of 91km and 5,340 parking lots in addition to providing surface and groundwater drainage networks and a TSE network.
Roads and Infrastructure in Semaisma West – Package 1 was awarded to Iris Trading and Contracting Company at a value of QR305mn. The project will serve 377 land plots and includes the construction and development of about 10km of roads and 5km of pedestrian and cycle lanes.
Roads and Infrastructure in Al Eqda, Al Heedan and Al Khor – Package 1 was awarded to Al Darwish Engineering Company at a value of QR303mn. The project serves 399 land plots and includes the construction and development of 37km of roads.
