With the aim of enhancing co-operation between Qatar and India in the industrial security sector, a meeting was held between the General Directorate of Industrial Security under the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) of India. The objective was to exchange experiences regarding securing and protecting oil installations and other areas by using modern technology available for vital places. Lt Col Khalifa Mohamed al-Attiyah, director general of Industrial Security, headed the Qatari delegation while M A Ganapathy, CISF special director general, headed the Indian delegation.
