His Holiness Pope Francis met Qatar's outgoing ambassador (non-resident) to Vatican City, Nasser bin Hamad al-Khalifa at the Vatican on Wednesday.
The ambassador thanked Pope Francis for the support provided by the Vatican to him during his tenure. Secretary for Relations with States Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher met ambassador al-Khalifa.
He thanked the ambassador for his co-operation during his tenure.
