His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan Office on Sunday morning with HE Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the State Ajay Sharma, who called on His Highness the Amir to greet him on the occasion of ending his tenure in the country.

His Highness the Amir granted HE the British Ambassador Al Wajbah Decoration in recognition of his role in contributing to enhancing bilateral relations, wishing him success in his future missions, and the relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HE the Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir and the State's officials for the cooperation he received that contributed to the success of his work in the country. (QNA)
