The “Public Speaking Skills” training course, organised by the Qatar Media Center under the Ministry of Culture, concluded today after a three-day session.The course, led by trainer Mohamed al-Saadi, aimed to familiarise participants with the fundamentals and techniques of public speaking and to instil self-confidence, enabling them to speak fluently and comfortably in front of an audience.Participants learned about voice modulation and tonal variation and how these can enhance the impact on the listener, emphasising the importance of mastering such skills. The course covered numerous principles that empower individuals to be persuasive in their public speaking performances, such as thorough subject knowledge, effective idea delivery, avoiding nervousness or fear, and maintaining harmony in vocal performance.Targeted at the age group of 14 to 22 years, this training is part of the summer programme launched by the centre at the beginning of July, which includes various courses in media and cybersecurity. The programme has seen significant participation from the intended age group.The Qatar Media Center continues its summer activities with the third training course, focusing on mobile photography skills, scheduled to start next Monday. This course will be conducted by trainer Abdullah Sarour and will also run for three days.
