Department of Meteorology Wednesday warned of the chances of mist/fog formation in some areas during night and early morning on Friday and Saturday because of an expected rise in relative humidity. The Dept had advised the public to be careful and to follow latest updates through their official social media accounts.
The daily weather report released by the Met Dept also warned of strong winds and blowing dust Wednesday until 6pm. Temperature will be moderate during daytime and relatively cold by night.
Offshore, it will be slight dust at times, the report added, warning of strong wind and high seas.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly 08 to 18 knot, reaching to 22 knot at some places daytime with gusting exceeding 26 knot at times.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly 18 to 25 knot, gusting to 34 knot a times.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/3 kilometers or less at places at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 5 to 8 feet, rises to 12 feet at times.
