Slovakia's Petra Vlhova held the upper hand in Saturday's women's World Cup slalom after the first run at the season finals in Andorra.Vlhova was timed in 54.28 to lead Croatian Leona Popovic by 0.32s and Anna Swenn Larsson of Sweden by 0.56, with US ski superstar Mikaela Shiffrin placed fourth after a costly mistake at 0.59.Shiffrin is already assured the overall World Cup title and the slalom crystal globe and last Saturday made history by becoming the most successful racer in history with 87 World Cup wins.
