The Ministry of Public Health on Sunday the registration of 44 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in Qatar, in addition to the recovery of three cases of those infected.
Some of the new cases of infection are related to travellers who returned to Qatar, while others are due to some contacts of cases earlier diagnosed with Covid-19.
The new cases have been put into quarantine where they are receiving the necessary medical care.
The Ministry announced that three patients who have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 48.
The Ministry of Public Health is continuing to undertake all necessary checks for all citizens arriving from abroad, as well as all individuals who have been in contact with the affected cases.
