The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Wednesday announced 54 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and recovery of nine more patients.
The MoPH said in a statement that some of the new cases of infection are related to people who have recently returned to Qatar and to others who had had contact with people infected with the virus.
The MoPH pointed out that with nine new cases of recovered patients recorded on Wednesday, a total of 71 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Qatar.
