PM honours security committee members, participating entities for securing World Cup

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani honoured members of the security committee and the entities from brotherly countries who participated in securing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.This came during a ceremony that was held on this occasion at The Ned Doha yesterday evening.During the ceremony, HE the Prime Minister watched a documentary film explaining the methods of securing the tournament.HE Sheikh Mohamed commended the security committee members and the participating entities from friendly countries, as well as heads of the participating delegations, for securing the World Cup.He extended special thanks to HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, former Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and former chairman of the security committee, and HE the Minister of Interior and FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Security Operations Commander Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al-Thani.The ceremony was attended by a number of ministers, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar and heads of delegations, along with senior officials and guests.
