Amir's visit to Tajikistan opens great prospects for business sector in both countries , says Qatar chairman

Qatar Chamber (QC) chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani stressed that the visit of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to Tajikistan opens up new prospects for co-operation between the two countries, reflecting positively on trade exchange and investment, as well as co-operation and partnership relations between business sectors in the two countries, especially with the distinct relations between the two countries at all levels.In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Sheikh Khalifa said that Qatar's economy is open to the world and welcomes all investors, noting that Qatar is also interested in promoting foreign investment, in line with its economic diversification strategy, where it has investments in many countries around the world.He indicated that Tajikistan is a promising destination for investment, given its various investment opportunities, noting that Qatar Chamber encourages Qatari businessmen to explore investment opportunities in Tajikistan.The Chamber supports and encourages co-operation between the two countries' business sectors and works to facilitate partnerships and alliances between Qatari and Tajik companies, thereby supporting trade and economic co-operation between the two countries, Sheikh Khalifa added.Concluding his statement to QNA, he said that Qatar is endeavouring to build a balanced and sophisticated co-operation with the world's countries, especially those that represent an economic and commercial weight. The Central Asian region is one of the economic zones to which Qatar has attached particular importance, Sheikh Khalifa said.
