The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the working hours at health centres (HCs) during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, from May 19 until 28.
The main health centres in Doha, including the Al Rayyan, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Mesaimeer, Umm Ghuwailina, West Bay, Madinat Khalifa, Airport and Omar Bin Khatab HCs, will remain open from 7am to 11pm. Dental services at these centres will be available from 7am to 10pm.
As for the health centres outside Doha, the Al Wakra HC will remain open from 7am to 11pm. Dental services will be available from 7am to 10pm.
The Al Khor HC will operate from 7am to 11pm, and provide dental services in two shifts, from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10pm.
Meanwhile, working hours at the Al Ruwais HC will be from 7am to 11pm, and dental services will be available only in the morning shift from 7am to 2pm.
Al Sheehaniya Health Centre will be open from 7am to 11pm and offer dental services from 7am to 10pm, while the Al Jumailiya HC will provide an on-call service 24 hours.
Health centres that will close during the Eid al-Fitr holiday include the Qatar University, Leghwairiya, Al Daayen, Abu Nakhla, Al Thumama, Al Waab, Al Karaana, Al Wajbah and Al Kaaban HCs (except for the urgent case unit, which will operate round the clock).
Specialised clinics at the Leabaib and Airport HCs will provide services from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10pm. ENT clinics at the Leabaib and Mesaimeer health centres will be open from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10pm.
Dermatology clinics will be operating at Leabaib Health Centre from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10pm, while premarital clinics will work at the Airport HC on Monday (May 25) from 4pm to 10pm, and at the Al Rayyan HC on Tuesday (May 26) from 7am to 2pm.
The health centres receiving urgent cases daily 24 hours are Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Muaither, Al Sheehaniya, Rawdat Al Khail, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Ruwais and Al Kaaban.
Meanwhile, the health centres designated for examining and keeping suspected cases of Covid-19 in quarantine are as follows: Muaither, Rawdat Al Khail and Gharrafat Al Rayyan HCs, working 24/7, and the Umm Slal HC, working daily from 7am to 11pm.
The Community Call Center will operate continuously from 7am to 11pm. The medicine delivery service will stop on Sunday and Monday, May 24 and 25, and resume work on Tuesday, May 26.
