The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has issued a circular regarding the annual leave of players, the resumption of daily training and the completion of the Second Division league.
QFA decided to approve the results of the teams participating in the Second Division namely Al Kharaitiyat, Al Markhiya, Muaither, Mesaimeer, Al Shamal, Al Bida, Lusail, and Al Waab until the end of the second section only, with the cancellation of all the results of the matches that were held during the third phase on the condition that the number of matches played for each team is 14 matches.
It is mentioned that the leagues standings were modified after the end of the matches of the second phase of the league after excluding the results of Al Bida, Lusail and Al Waab.
The standings after 14 matches are Al Kharaitiyat with 30 points, Al Markhiya with 23 points, Muaither with 23 points, Mesaimeer with 21 points, Al Shamal with 20 points.
The players’ leave started from Wednesday and will end on June 24, 2020.
The players, technical, administrative and medical staff will have to undergo Covid-19 tests between June 25-27.
The players can resume daily exercises on June 28, while the Second Division will resume on August 12, 2020.
