Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) Automobiles, the authorised general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, has adopted new safety measures as part of their general strategy for continuous service improvement.
The company has launched the highest standards of vehicles’ sanitisation service to secure the ultimate levels of car hygiene from inside and outside, including AC systems, according to a statement.
Ihab El Feky, chief operations officer – Auto, at NBK Group, said, “At NBK Automobiles and Mercedes-Benz the health and safety of our associates, customers, and communities is very important. We are pleased to offer a sanitisation package for the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle. It is part of our responsibility towards our Mercedes-Benz family and the wider
community as well”.
The new sanitising service from Boecker aims to reduce the level of germs that might be found in and on the vehicles. It consists of disinfecting the interior and exterior surfaces including the air conditioning system using an EPA registered disinfectant.
The applied products are environmentally friendly and 100% biodegradable, making all surfaces completely safe so they can be touched after application without causing any harm.
The materials used work against all types of microorganisms and can eliminate 99.9% of microorganisms within 30 seconds of contact. Besides, they are effective even in extreme temperatures ranging from -18 to +121C, preventing germs from developing any kind of
resistance.
The residual feature of the materials make them capable of destroying microorganisms long after application. Despite their high effectiveness, the materials will not stain any surface or fabric and only leave a cotton smell allowing the driver to immediately
use the car in comfort.
The new comprehensive sanitising service is available at all Mercedes-Benz service centres. The Mercedes-Benz service centre at the Industrial Area welcomes customers from Sunday through Thursday, from 9am-3pm. The other branches at Almana petrol station and Algarafa are open from Sunday through Thursday, from 9am-3pm, and from 7am-1am.
