The Al Wakra Municipality, represented by the Municipal Control Department, carried out 1,433 inspections and issued 278 notices during May. The Health Control Department implemented 838 periodic inspections, issued 16 notices and closed two commercial stores. After inspecting 18,893 livestock carcasses, 121 were fully destroyed and 3,587 partially.
