The Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs has called on all worshippers to adhere to all precautionary measures against coronavirus and to co-operate with the organisers as mosques reopen Monday.
The call to prayer from all mosques will be in its original form, without mentioning the phrase "pray in your homes". Starting at dawn Monday a limited number of mosques will reopen for prayers (except Friday prayers).
The Ministry of Awqaf has advised the elderly and the chronically ill to pray in their homes for the sake of their health, and called upon those having coronavirus symptoms to aviod praying in mosque, in order to preserve their health and that of other worshippers.
