More than 76 brands at Doha Festival City re-opened their doors to shoppers yesterday, including renowned fashion, home decor, electronics, and sportswear brands, as part of phase 1 of the gradual lifting of coronavirus restrictions in Qatar.
The coronavirus causes the Covid-19 respiratory disease.
Abercrombie & Fitch, Aldo, American Eagle Outfitters, Armani Exchange, Aura, Banana Republic, Bershka, BHS, Boggi, Centrepoint, Collection of Style, Gap, Guess, H&M, H&M Men's, Hollister, LC Waikiki, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Max Fashion, Nautica, New Yorker, Next, Pull & Bear, R&B, Reserved, Riva, River Island, Sfera, Stradivarius, Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger, Topshop, and Zara are among the fashion brands.



The latest sports gear and exercising kits are available at outlets including Adidas, Footlocker, Adidas Originals, Go Sport, Nike, Stadium, and Under Armour.
The home decor brands include Ikea, ACE, Butterfly Design Studios, Daiso, Hema, Home Centre, Laura Ashley, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Muji, The One, West Elm, and Zara Home.
Offering the latest in luxury and urban collections with modern fashion designs and accessories, Harvey Nichols, Debenhams, and Marks & Spencer are also open.
For video gamers and tech lovers, the latest digital accessories and devices are available through FNAC and Virgin Megastore – available both instore and through online shopping.
Items for children are available at Mama's & Papa's, Mothercare, The Children's Place, Salam Kido, LC Waikiki Kids, Toys R Us, and Borders.

Fabulous collections of fragrances, cosmetics, eyewear and fine accessories are also another to reason to visit Doha Festival City, with the reopening of Pari Gallery, Sephora, Areej, Magrabi Optical, Victoria's Secret, and Victoria's Secret Pink.
Commenting on the reopening of the mall and outlets, Doha Festival City general manager Robert Hall said: “We are thrilled to welcome back shoppers to some of their favourite brands and stores.
“Our customers will experience several safety measures on entry, including displaying a valid Ehteraz ‘green’ health symbol, and we appreciate all for paying attention to government advice and recognising proper distancing.
“We hope that Doha Festival City will continue being the destination of choice for our entire community, while being fully committed to ensure the highest standards of safety and well-being for both our shoppers and tenants.”
In line with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s (MoCI) directives, opening hours will be Sunday to Thursday, from 8am-8pm.
Monoprix will be open on Sunday to Thursday from 8am-11pm, and Friday and Saturday from 8am to midnight, while M&S Food Hall will be open daily from 9am-10pm.
Boots Pharmacy will be open from 9am-10pm on weekdays, and from 9am-11pm on weekends, while Kulud Pharmacy will be open daily from 8am to midnight.
Banking and telecommunications branches will be open Sunday to Friday.
Shoppers must show their green Ehteraz QR code at the entrance of the mall and should wear a medical mask throughout their time at the mall.
Visitors aged 12 or less and those aged 60 and above will not be allowed in the mall as in accordance with the MoCI directives.
